Exactly. While Oscar would love for me to carry him, it ain't happenin'. Besides, it's easier (for me) to shop, etc. without having to worry where the dog is/what he's doing. -
For some reason the talk about small dogs reminded me of this video of Paula Dean on CMT cribs. Skip to about 1:15 in, past intro stuff and wait for her to mention turds!
Let's see if I remember how to do this...

i went to petsmart in suburban NJ last week and somebody left a giant dog poop right on the floor. wtf??? who does that IN a store and leaves it there?
-
Oops, sorry about that Flexi, I just couldn't make it to the bathroom quick enough.......
-
Sorry to sorta rerail this, but - does anyone know what the charge is for a spot at the original Park Slope Flea at PS 321?
-
No, but if you call the school they could probably tell you
-
So did anyone go to the new flea last weekend?

there should be dogs and booze inside the flea. Drunk people= more spending and more hanging out. I'm pro-alcohol for any place that encourages spending.

hmmm, I think they are going for a different crowd.
Sometimes drunk people with dogs have no money. ...rural kentucky comes to mind. -

No but really, think of all of the great wineries and stuff that could be represented. The union sq farmers market has local wineries who are always hopping, and I used to love the little winery that came to the farmers market on 5th ave in the slope. Plus, have you BEEN to the flea? Its crawling with 20somethings in big sunglasses- if thats not a target market for pretentious local wine I don't know what is... -
true.
...but I'm all for increasing the rights of places to ban things and people.
If it doesn't work out for them, they'll relax thier ban.
Right now, I'm thinking of all the people and things I'd like to ban from being around me.
I'm ok with being banned once and a while, as long as I can ban too.
Howdy, Stranger!
