Swine Flu in Sunset Park?

You heard right - over-reaction reigns supreme.
Not saying we shouldn't be vigilant but why not shrink wrap the little ankle biters already.
Put spikes on their shirtsleeves so they can't wipe their runny little boogers. Hose 'em down with Lysol and move on. -

Domino where have you been all our life???
-
I know who I'm gonna demonize here. You people celebrating your precious pork, that's who. Looks like its gonna be breeders vs pigeaters here. Now choose a side and throwdown.

Oh, it's on!!!!

Oooh - BBQ at the Park!!!! I am bringing my copy of Jonathan Swift's Modest Proposal in case someone needs a recipe for Tasty Toddler!!!!!

Upon first reading, I actually thought that Domino's post was yours, Ana, because I know how much you love kids!!

BTW - been idling away in Bay Ridge, Sunset Park and Dyker my entire life. So much chaos, so little time. If Flo wants me to choose a side - I opt for German potato salad (heavy on the vinegar, no on the mayo). Can't go wrong with pork or toddler.

It's good to be vigilant but I think that constantly closing down schools is extreme. If your really looking into the reason the schools are closed down, they are closed because a lot of the students are claiming sick with "flu like" symptoms. This doesn't mean it's the H1N1 (swine) flu. Majority of the time, the schools are closed before there is any confirmation weather or not anybody is infected.
People shouldn't be scared. If you're young and healthy, your body school be strong enough to fight of the virus. All of the people who passed away because of the H1N1 flu also had another underlining illness. Only very young children and older people should be more concerned just like they should be every year with the regular flu virus. -
I'm very maternal. If maternal means children should be raised in a lab until they're 18 and then released into society. If they're hot enough for me to date.
-
Danielle - I like kids - I really do. Especially if they are done just right (usually at 425 degrees with 5 minutes at broil). Not into the worship of the child. Maybe TOLERANCE of the child - if there is sufficient liquor.
-
Beaverhausen has got the concept! If you can't find a good man, raise one. Then dispose of the body.

Ah. Does that mean you'd also be willing to slap your father and are a total pinko commie liberal? Sicko. -
I look fabulous in pink.
-
Nope. Independent - capable of non-group thought as espoused by the die hards of the Democratic and Republican regimes. Loved dad - hard working blue collar guy who gave 1000% for his family, respect liberals AND conservatives for their viewpoints IF the viewpoints are expressions of INDEPENDENT rational thought and not just party rhetoric. Not into puppets or puppeteers. Pinko is not my color.
-
But do use Commie to clean my sink if I am out of Ajax.

Love Beaverhausen - common brainwaves!

Just so you know Domino---the internet is a powerful thing. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a sudden surge in hardcore punk kids clothes just because of you. Also bbq baby food trucks in midtown. Also people throwing pork products randomly at children.
-
That goes double for the Beaver. You two are trouble.
-
If we added Scarlett to the mix, watch out.
-
NOT I!!!! 12 years of the finest Brooklyn parochial schools could not have resulted in such a debacle!!!!
Hung up my dog collar and Ramones T shirt YEARS ago.
Although flinging pancetta at unruly little brats does warm the cold cockles of my bloodless heart, I find frozen baby back ribs to be much more effective. Now where is "Uncommon" to man the grill damn him? -
I think we need a baby-themed BBQ. Soon. Who's got a backyard? Flexi...???
-
Ever been randomly slapped in the face by a peace of meat? It's no joke my friend. It is no joke.
-
Can we get an adoption put thru in enough time?
-
There are plenty of little chinese kids running around. But then I'd just be hungry again in an hour.
-
I dunno - was in the mood for something a little less Americanized - maybe Mexican. Can you just drive by a corner and pick up a dozen?

Ooow. That one deserves a star, I think. -

Subject: Baby BBQ
So has anyone actually moved on the Baby BBQ? I have several old baby dolls (from a past Halloween costume) that we can string for atmosphere, can get some of the dollar store toxic chinese plastic baby bottles (put white lights in 'em and we're good) will buy the baby back ribs and bibs . . . who can get the grill and location? -
Grills are easy - location hard. I still say we commandeer Flexi's back yard. She has a broken foot and has very little strength to resist us.
Howdy, Stranger!
