You could always go to the park. There is a BBQ area next to the Vanderbilt playground so you'll have a supply of fresh meat
  • Are facemasks optional or required?

Bummer about Flexi's foot. Hope it heals quickly.
  • Faces masks required for those with swine flu; optional for those too shy to be identified; sucking up those baby backs may be a problem.
  • I hear you!

I just had a 7 year old in my house for 2 days/nights. It was supposed to be one day, but they got to the airport and the kid left his Playstation in the rental car which his mom had already returned. They had to go back and get it, so they missed their flight to SF and came back to spend another night.

This kid is seriously great, but it just reinforces my lack of desire to be a mom.

I'm not sure I'm up for a baby-themed anything at this point, but thanks for the offer to commandeer my yard and grill while I am disabled (finally I mean physically....the mental stuff is all well-known!)
  • Sweetie, it wasn't an offer!

PS - I will be nice to you since you had to suffer a stupid kid.
