My parents are opening a pet store in Brooklyn Heights called Rocco and Jezebel for Pets. It's located at 89 Pineapple Walk, where Tailored Pet used to be. My mom was friends with and worked for the owner, Serena Bellino, for years. The store will continue doing boarding and grooming, selling various pet products but is including in-house pet sitting, pick up and delivery, and a senior citizen's day. Thanks guys! I'm so proud of them! Mama, give my mom a call and tell her who you are. I'm not sure of prices yet, mom's been crazed getting the store ready for today so I've been keeping out of her hair.
Flexi, I'm sorry I flaked out on you yesterday! I was trapping the night before and stayed up waaaay too late, I ended up sleeping most of the day like a lazy bum! -

How much is boarding? Grooming? I usually go to Paws in Paradise but am willing to commute to support a brooklynianer -
Oooh, I really should find out this kind of stuff. I'll have to ask her tomorrow about grooming and boarding. And you can be absolutely positive that your baby will be treated really good! I swear my mom loves her dogs more than me, you have no idea how many times she's called me Jezebel. Of course, she's also called Jezebel my name too!

^^^ You think that's bad... I have called my dog "Jude" and my son "Duke" more times than I can count. Poor thing is only 3 months old and he thinks he and the dog are interchangeable already. Lucky for me, Duke is too dense to realize we're getting his name wrong. Again, poor thing.
Can't wait to go to your mom's store!! Duke could use some pampering since he's got to compete with the baby for extra attention these days. -

Yay! I know Mama Caseo and she's awesome. Baby O will be in good hands and he will definitely get keeeeeeeses. I know how Mama C spoils her own doggies. -
I've never left him for 10 straight days. I will be a mess and probably calling every day to talk to him on the phone.

Haha, those Boxers always have enormous tongues. Like the one with the tongue that wouldn't fit in her mouth!

I gotta give a shoutout to Rocco and Jezebel for the excellent haircut they gave my boy back at the end of november. I hung out in the shop for a few hours and watched Caseos mom groom 2-3 other dogs and she was very professional and loving towards all of them. Bruno came out looking 100x better after my at-home haircuts.

I also saw the boarding room and the staff walking the dogs- the room is large and very clean (no doggie smell at all!) and all the dogs seemed very happy. The shop is way cute and has lots of fun boutique-type stuff (nice bags and beds, cute knicknacks.)
