Rant: scarlett is ruining Beave's reputation.
Voodoo and Scarlett - I am near meltdown too between the foot and losing my job....things WILL get better. I am sure of it.
I'm sorry to hear about the apartment, Voodoo....they are FOOLS to pick somebody else over you. -

Assholes! This happened to me twice when I was looking, so I know how you feel. Stupid as it sounds, single men are discriminated against when applying for apartments. -

Voodoo, if you're pretty plants need a place to stay while moving you're welcome to store some in our little back yard. I have some things growing there so I promise not to forget to water them but the dog does not promise to keep the squirrels out of them
Is this a weird offer? I love my plants way too much so I have lots of reasons why this seems logical to me -
in 1997 I had a friend who lived in WT go looking with me since he knew the area. He's black (i'm white). We didn't see much of anything, even though we went to almost every place on 7th ave. I think people thought we were a couple....sadly, i saw a whole different set of apartments when I went alone

We have the dog, and with his "Good Dog Foundation" therapy dog certificate, a surprising number of adamant "no pets" landlords will change their tune (possibly with a pet deposit, which seems fair to me).
He happens to be an excellent apartment dog, but that certification has nothing to do with that really. Just because he likes to sit in a room full at the senior center doesn't mean he won't bark his head off at home or destroy the place, but I don't say that to potential LLs
Apartment hunting here just isn't easy. -

Oh and also, kiddo, those first two were co-ops. What co-op board would take a 22 year old with one year job experience over a couple with two incomes? Yours is a condo. Just sayin. -

Hey ya'll. Just wanted to say I luvs you all and thanks the my friends here that have show concern for my disappearance. I have a serious load of family over that is creating a nervous breakdown for me. I'll be AWOL for over a week.... They. Just. Won't. Leave. for Over a WEEK!!!
Only Rave: Once they leave we will hit some seriously fun happy hour in the city!!! Promise! -
