Lost Phone Number — Brooklynian

Lost Phone Number

Say you met someone, there was a (possible) love connection, and they gave you their phone number (but like an ass you didn't put it in your cell phone but wrote it down) then you lost their phone number and all you know is they live in Brooklyn.

What would you do?

  • Ok you think they live in Park Slope.
  • you could just ask me for it again.

    ...or missed connections
  • Look for it again, and again,... or go back to where you met them again, and again

The number is gone, and I met them (her) in prospect Park last night at the David Byrne show so...
  • missed connections, and go to the next PP show and hope for the best.
  • you can always go this route:

  • Great idea Sweet Tea! I knew there was another hopeless romantic among us!
  • Dude. I didn't go to the show last night. Jeez.

I kind of wish you did as I'd know where to find you today. ;-)

    Missed connections worth a shot
  • Missed Connections are so creepy.
  • OK let's say that we did exchange numbers so she has mine as well (although I do not have hers). I guess it would be kind of unrealistic to expect a phone call from her if she doesn't first get a phone call from me, huh?

Maybe she'll text you. Maybe not. Who the hell writes phone numbers down nowadays anyway?
  • I left my phone at work in a rush to get to the show. yeah, I'm an dumbass.
  • It's probably fake anyway. Right, Beave? Don't people just put the numbers in their phones? I wouldn't know.

Totally fake. I have no idea what your number is.
  • Dude, she is soooo going to think you're just not that into her!!!
  • She's probably going to develop some kind of drug habit from the rejection. Nice going Meredith.
  • damn, I wish Meredith had rejected me ...then I could develop a drug habit and blame him.

How come I never end up with any good reasons I'm a victim?

    You can blame your mom.
  • that's so 80s though.

    ...freudian crap.

blame the fact that you've never met me.

once you meet me, you can blame it on me
  • fine. I am a victim b/c I have never met flexi.

....now I need to go get some entitlements, and sympathy.

or at least a few addictions so people can feel like they are helping, while they feel superior to me on TV.
  • Why is it always about you!? I kid. The fact is this dude will never see this girl. It is tragic, really!!!
  • whynot_31 wrote: How come I never end up with any good reasons I'm a victim?
    Because you're already married.
  • ...I keep forgetting that.
