  • I and my motley crew will be there.
  • I'm not sure yet whether I'm working that day. If not, I'll definitely be there.
  • Sounds good. Make sure you take everyone by their hand and walk them to the right spot. :-)
  • I'm in for this.
  • I'd love to, but cannot. I'll be driving home that day from a wedding in Massachusetts.
  • I'll be there.
  • Neathermead doesn't have BBQ'ing allowed, right?
  • I know you can by the picnic house isn't that in the N'Mead?

I used to do a BBQ here for 3 years, they never gave us any shit. The BBQ places suck, they are by the roads and have no room for fun. Plus there will be others BBQing there, always are. And we could always move.

Or we could just make it a picnic?
  • No can do. I'll be in sunny langele. lol
  • I believe me and the mister will attend, We still have not made many friend outside our "circle" since moving to Brooklyn (over a year ago)......
  • Nice blog Lexie, it has a warm personal feel. I hope you attend, can't wait to meet you!
  • Sounds cool. How does this work, do we all bring our own stuff for ourselves or to share?

Things will be worked out in the coming weeks. It will be a bring your own stuff and share kind of thing. Hoping to get a propane BBQ.
  • sounds good. gonna try to attend.
  • Un-globalling this now that the word is out. Meredith, please bump and I'll re-global one week before the event.
  • If I catch an fish the day before, we could grill them.

...so we should plan on going to Western Beef.
  • Em made the most amazing chicken kabobs to share last time. Mummm...
  • Don't think I replied yet, but I'm up for this.
  • I am in!
  • What time we starting?
  • Mr. Meredith started this thread so he is obligated to scope out the spot and be there first to claim our territory. What do you think 1pm?
  • 1 PM sounds perfect.

How are you going to identify yourselves? For the mostly-trollers of us, it might be difficult/awkward trying to find the group. Banner/Balloon? Something better?
  • We need a Brooklynian Flag.

You know some of us from the midnight bike rides, no?

But you're right. We should have some easy way to identify us.

    Maybe a secret handshake?
  • Is Whynot and Dude coming. You can't miss that dog.
  • Dude has generously stepped forward to be the identifier for events that occur in parks.

  • Can we count on you to bring that propane BBQ? I'll do a Costco sausage run.
