yoga classes

I'm looking for a vigorous ashtanga-style yoga class...but not interested in "hot" classes. anyone have any recommendations??

there's a yoga place on ... st marks? just west of washington. never been there, and their hours don't work for me, but it's there.

Robin at Park Slope Yoga teaches Jivamukti yoga which is derrived from ashtanga and vinyasa yoga. Not hot yoga but will make you sweat.

Shambhala Yoga and Dance is on on Saint Marks at Washington. They have vinyasa classes, but not sure how close it is to the ashtanga format. I've been trying to go for a year now... too bad I can't seem to walk the 100 ft to their front door.

Not in PH, but I've tried a lot of studios in the area and have always been partial to the Yoga Lab (http://www.theyogalab.com/) on Atlantic Ave. They've definitely got the type of rigorous classes you're looking for. And I think their summer rooftop yoga classes start up soon.
