Street fairs free tee shirts

Hey All!

My wife and I are going to print and sell some tee-shirts in the neighborhood and in some bklyn street fairs or flea markets. We wanted to get everyone's opinion about the graphics before we actually start printing. We setup an online survey for anyone who would like to vote on the graphics. There’s no need for typing, all you do is look at the pictures and check off some buttons......oh, and have fun :D

Just go to one of the web links below to take the survey, it ends next Friday June 26. To thank everyone who participates, we are going to raffle some tee shirts.

Thanks again for helping out, and if you want to give us any feedback (like what stores do u think wil be interested in our tees, or in what fair shld we sell, etc.) please post it here.

    Some of those shirts were great!

    Although the tigers and the unicorns had a bit of a Trapper Keeper vibe to me. Maybe that's what you were going for.

    Well, I did the survey. The men's shirts are pretty horrific, IMHO. Frat humor doesn't do it for me.. reminds me of slightly more-well designed versions of the shirts they sell at beach shops on the Jersey Shore or Ft Lauderdale.

    Before I took the survey I thought 8thandPrez was being a little harsh. Post-survey I completely agree. A few of those ideas are complete rip offs. There are SO many mediocre t-shirt vendors at street fairs already and this selection was nothing new.

    I hate most things trying to advertise something (like Bklyn Rebel) unless it's free and then it will only be used when I am painting or cleaning.

    I liked a few, but for the most part, they're pretty frat boy. I wouldn't buy any of them, though.

    By the way, Coney Island is mis-spelled on M111. You spelled it Conely.

    Urban Folk Art© had coined the phrase "Brooklyn Love" over 10 years ago. and been selling various merch with the phrase on it since.

    they are usually at the Atlantic Antic and a bunch of other street fairs in BK.
    they also sell out of Artezn on Atlantic, and through one of the artist's shops somewhere on Smith Street

    Thanks for your opinion. Yeah, I'm not much of a one-liner graphic guy myself, but there is a big market for it. Fortunately we also designed some other types of graphics for us :D

    Thanks for your comment. I actually don't wear tees with brand names plastered all over, even if there is a big portion of people who love that. Since this is our brand, I think I might have to change my dressing habits and make an exception :wink:

    Thanks for the info and link, we definitely will look into the phrase "brooklyn love", we don't want to violate any trademarks or copyrights :(

    Thanks for the kind words, I am always open for constructive critisim. Heck, I'll even read the silly comments, they give me inspiration for another uniformly lame mediocre frat jackass humor graphic.....actually this description is a great idea for a new graphic :lol:

    I took the gal shirt survey. I'm not much of a t shirt person, especially a "decorated" t, but I liked a few of them (the nerdier ones probably, kind of woot shirtish ones).

    While most are not my taste, I think hhoj is probably working towards a certain market (one that regularly buys t shirts as outerwear) and I see tons of tees in this genre being worn, though mostly by younger folks/teens.

    At least they are trying to get feedback.
