Log in issues

If I close out of IE or Firefox, then open it again I have to relog into Brooklynian. At that point, it also tells me there are no new posts since my last visit. I've checked the "remember me" box. This happens on every computer I use - work or home. The only time it doesn't log me out is if I close the multiple windows in firefox and it asks me if I want to save and quit. Do I have something set wrong?

  • If I had to take a stab at this, I'd say that your browser preferences are set to clear the cache and browser cookies (and perhaps history, too) when the browser is closed.

Clearing the cache and browser cookies would definitely result in the symptoms you describe.

    Just a guess, tho.
  • well, fix it, damn you!
  • okeyyy, tunneling in now...be not alarmed if your browser momentarily reboots, and your email client shows a few more messages read (and sent..lawl)...

  • In her defense, Flexi, I must say that those fabulous Italian red leather pumps she still had open in her browser just now were really something to behold.

So I did her a favor and just clicked the Saks.com's one-click "buy now" button.

I'm certain she'll thank me later.
