Funny juxtaposition! I love carneviento and Gamin too, but I would never think of ordering takeout from Gamin. It always seemed more of an eat-in type of place to me.

You can eat for several days (maybe a week for some people) at carneviento for $20!

Le Gamin will deliver. We were down with a household case of strep throat this past winter and they did us right. Did I say that I love Le Gamin?

Which place is Chan Yang's. Is that the one next to Met on Vanderbilt?

Chan Yang is on 6th and Bergen, right at the 2. Even though the place you mention is closer to me (can't remember the name for some reason) they take a year and a day to get you your food, and, although I know some people here really like that place, I never found it to be "all that", in the parlance of our times.
  • cool thanks guys :). does anyone now have a link to that website with all the menus :D?

    Damn you, Carnivore!!!
  • carneviento uses msg...i get massive headaches from msg...

I have a VERY tasty steak sandwich there...and gianormus headache followed it. I am pretty sure if they use any goya products it is loaded with the stuff.

The hashbrowns also must have my cryptonite sprinkled on them. Since i had the same reaction to those. Damn shame for me.
