hasn't that storefront been there for years? I never even expected it to open thought it was one of those perpetually closed places
-
Yes, it was there for years....I asked the people at Bene last year and they said it had never opened. Now, it has.....not sure what caused the delay
-
its ok, not horrible, not outstanding
i'm just glad its open instead of the graffiti covered eyesore its been for the past 3 years
besides cheesesteaks they have burgers, dogs, fries, etc...nice option to add to the pizza & ice cream shops -
Seriously that sign has been up for years. Looks freakin gross, but at least the rats will have some new food to eat.
-
it's really open? huh. didn't see that one coming.

yep...definitely open. I have a menu and talked to 2 people who ate there. I do love me some cheesesteak.... -
I have been waiting for this place to open ever since the sign went up.
Football season would roll around and I would think "this is the high season for cheesesteak and buffalo wing based consumables, THEY"VE GOT TO OPEN". And they never would.
Lo and behold, on a trip to get some ices, there it was. Open.
I will say this for the Cheesesteak based consumables. They are pretty good. Good cheese selection, and the sauteed veggies are tasty.
If you want perfect, go to Philly. If live in the neighborhood these will do nicely. Wafflefries are good too.
I think they are somehow in league with Louie G's.
Also, I have been told in the fall that buffalo wings will be added with an eye towards consumption whilst watching tackle football matches on tv. -
Thanks, Dewey..........I need to get myself over there and check them out.
I thought they were in with Louie G's too, but when I asked the Bene people, they told me no. -
wings would be awesome...perfect for football season

I got a hamburger there. It was decent, not great. But while you're waiting, these flying bugs swarm around you. That was unpleasant. They should try to do something about that. (I don't know what...some kind of bug zapper?)
