New Restaurant on Fulton btwn Franklin Claver

New restaurant on Fulton called (iirc) Bickel's Jerk Restaurant & Cafe.
It's right over the record store by the Franklin Ave C stop. They've been renovating that place for what seems like a year - they finally put a sign up.

Anyone have any details on the place? All I hope for is yummy vegetarian options.

ETA: it's actually called Bickels Jerk Express Restaurant & Cafe
Got a quick glance inside and it looks like there is no seating area - just a pick up window. So... yeah...

I have not even seen it. Interesting. I agree about vegetarian options, but I am thrilled to see a new restaurant no matter what.

Subject: bickels is open!

Bickels Jerk Express has been open since August 31,2009 and its 24 hours! There's a cafe in the back that is to die for! They have a lunchtime buffet that just started..ALL U CAN EAT for an hour only $7 from Mon-Sat 11:30am-3pm!!! GREAT food at a GREAT price!

haven't tried it, but i can't because i'm a vegetarian and their menu is heavy on the meat other than perhaps a side or two (and neither of which is vegan). Nice that they are 24 hours but they will not be getting my business - will continue with Ali's, Ital Shak, and Imhotep.

ur welcum isla! btw..they have steam fish, brown stew fish & jerk fish 4 all those vegetarians..i tried the escovitch fish recently and it was good!
