Rave:
My big sis , best friend and nephew are coming FOR SURE. I just bought their tickets last nite. Aug 14-23rd
Rant :
Again with the itinerary <--My sis insists. I'm scribbling on a note pad trying to match events with dates and now I lost my pen and can't find any of the other million that we have in this house.
I'm trying to figure out what to do and where to go and crap I need some good bars/lounges to take my best friend (she drinks) and all I got is Cornelius (Pricer than what she's used to in Detroit but I'm selfishly thinking only about that burger.)
Any ideas not too far from where I reside is greatly appreciated.
Also RAVE My 4 year old nephew has never been so we're going to the CIRCUS!! Yaaay! -

Cornelius is nice, but there are plenty of other options too. Franklin Park, Weather Up, Washington Commons, or Sepia should all be fun for her. Weather Up has fried chicken and oysters on Thursdays and Sundays if you come early, and the best cocktails in the neighborhood. Sepia also has food, and what tends to be a bit older crowd; it's very chill. Washington Commons and Franklin Park do not have food but you can order food in to either place, and Washington Commons has the best selection of beers on tap in the area. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating in Franklin Park is the best outdoor space in the area. I don't like anyplace on Fridays or Saturdays between 8pm and 1 am or so because of the crowds.

Every time I've been there over the last few months. I'm not sure how late the kitchen is open.
Nice charcuterie plate. -

I ended up finding my pen IN THE FRIDGE??! I don't know. #-o
Thanks , Carny!!
Franklin Park was too loud when we were there on Festivus. I just remembered Black Sheep , that was a nice place. I haven't decided what days I'd take her to chill but it will definitely be 8ish and on weekdays cuz I don't want my nephew in a bar so I gotta plan the whole day of fun to wear him and my sis out , drop them off at the apartment and then hangout in adult places with my Boo Boo. Hopefully the places won't be too crowded.
As soon as I get the damn itinerary done , I'll put it up on the "notes" section of my facebook so if any of ya'll wanna hang and meet my Boo just call or text. She's pretty and sweet and Mexican and SINGLE and a good girl.

Rave: Jackson finally caught a butterfly outside. He was so excited
Rant: He ate it -
What did you want him to do with it? Pin it on a corkboard?

Well, StellaPuss brings me anything she catches as a present! -
Please tell her to come over and catch this fucking fruit fly that is trying to drink my wine!!! I have a coaster over it to protect it and the damn flying menace is too small to see until it's too late. Grrrr. DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!
-
Rant: me + flip flops + stairs = disaster.
-
Rant: hot dates who cancel for weak reasons
-
Scarlett - fruit flies die when they get drunk and they love the booze. Put a little tiny bit of wine in another cup and let the fruit fly have at it.
Beave - what happened? I already sent back my knee walker, or you could borrow it ;-) -
I fell down the stairs. Again. Twisted the same ankle I did about a year ago. Thankfully not as badly but it still friggin' HURTS!
-
That sucks ass. Has Oskie learned how to drive yet?
-
Flexi you expect me to sacrifice my Burgundy!!!!!!!!!

just a teeeny tiny drop. Let the fly have some of mine (no wine until sinuses are better...damn) -
Yes, I meant to tell you that the best thing for sinus infections is bourbon--- a couple nice Manhattans per day and you should be golden.

hmm...I don't have any in the house. I feel like I should have something hot with alcohol (not coffee - I don't like it). Eh....I don't think I have anything here that will work and I just made my little venture outside to get cat food before it storms. I tried baking it out of me in the sun for 3 hours today. It's definitely improving a lot, but by afternoon I am wiped out again -
How about a hot toddy? bourbon, tea and honey? Mougar and I like ginger tea for this, but any will work.
Rant: fucking drunkards who ask to sleep on your couch instead of walking 7 blocks home, pass out on the bar slash the boy who has agreed to come home with her after three minutes of conversation, get angry when encouraged to take a taxi home because they can't walk to the front door, forget about the seven blocks, and then pass out again while waiting for said taxi. Exhausting and not fun. Only fun to share story with all of you.
Rant: was out with this drunkard because my hot date canceled. Grrr. -
That^ sucks!
Rant: Shredding years of papers! Why did I keep these? Will scan and shred next time.
Rave: It's cathartic. -
Operation Liberation of Vegetation is a SUCCESS!!! I have purty plants :flower: :flower:
-
rave: naps with my kitteh.
rant: the gf has to spend the week in rochester for work. poo. -
sweet tea wrote: rave: naps with my kitteh.
well, at least you have the kitteh to yourself for a week :-)
rant: the gf has to spend the week in rochester for work. poo.
I love napping with the kittehs. They had me surrounded today at nap time. StellaPuss is right next to me now keeping me company -
rant: seeing all these wretched chicks out with their men today. So unfair!!!
-
unfair to you or the men they are with?
both? -
Rant :
Watched the movie Bruno today. Waste of money.
I've never had to cover my eyes so much while watching a comedy.
I'm glad I chose my husband to come see this movie with me cuz it would have been so uncomfortable with anyone else. My husband was looking at me like "what the fuck is this?" I sunk in my chair. It had its funny moments.....and dirty.
Next , I wanna see "The Orphan." Looks scary.
Also , Harry Potter. I gotta see that. -
Word. Bruno was lame. Seemed dumbed down purposely to cater to a wider range.
And way to much penis.
Howdy, Stranger!
