I'm new to the list!

Subject: I'm new to the list!

I'm new to this list but Terry and I have been chatting about our families and the neighborhood through FB. Terry found me through Freddy and I'm related to Freddy through marriage. My mom (Minafo) and dad (Cimino) were from 28th and 29th, my grandfather was an Iceman who delivered ice to many homes back in the time! I've lived on Prospect Ave and 11 street, went to Holy Family on 14th st.

One thing that always stuck in my mind was when the guys used to sing "Doo Wop" under the lamp posts on 5th ave.

My mom has many good memories of the area, we talk about "the good ole times" quite a bit.
