Come to Coney Island tonight and tell us about it!
Or were they seeking $ that they ended up not being entitled to?

They were just being assholes and trying to get $$ out of me. Assholes. Had to move anyway.
Or were they seeking $ that they ended up not being entitled to?
No Coney for me Carni (nice alliteration!), but maybe the picnic on Sunday? -
Rant: 123 hours worked in the last two weeks. Not counting various midnight phone calls and many hours spent planning for the teens.
Rant: comp time, over time whatever these mythical ideas are do not apply to me.
Rave: TIME TO DRINK AND SLEEP IN AAAAAAAAAAALL DAY TOMORROW!!!!! -

I'll see if I can swing by for a little, but I have to meet my in-laws for an early dinner for my MIL's birthday.
Come fishing on Saturday! -
Rave: A sunny day on the lounge chair in my bathing suit, reading a book, drinking lemonade and watching Jackson chase butterflies.
-
rant: clothing moths
rant: books saying that a physical illness is a result of not "self-nurturing". wha?? -

Rave: lamb burger for lunch, nexflix movies, I have wine. Brother is going out with old friends so we have the night to ourselves.
Tomorrow is the picnic!! -
whatcha watching, mama? I'm on a Rescue Me marathon.
-
I have a private eye movie staring Paul Newman when he was still a total hottie in the year 1975, called The Drowning Pool. All his movies when he was young are just terrific.
-
Oooh. I love him. He was totally hot
Rant: the top fell off of my hot red pepper flakes when I was adding some to my sauce.
Rave: I spooned most of it off, my sauce will still be delish and I'll put out the fire in my mouth with more red wine! -
rant: fire in my mouth! holy shit!
-
red sauce? add ricotta!
-

I don't have any.....I did put some heavy cream in, but it's still rough. I don't love the wine I opened (too soft/fruity)....but I'll survive. -
Rant: my wounds hurt. Carnivore, am I supposed to keep them "wet" with neosporin and bandages, or let them air and dry? Can you give me some pain killers? Puh-lease!!!!!!!!
-
Rant: Stewart looked for good looking people, yet let Carnie and I pass him by.
-
Well, Carni is attractive.

exactly. ...as is mrs C. -
Scarlett here's my advice. I'm clumsy and have skinned both knees falling down in the past. If they are leaking (for lack of a nicer term) spend a day airing the wounds out and letting them crust up. sounds gross but you need to start building a scab. Carny may have other advice, but I just let them air out and get a scab going even if that scab looked nasty.
-
Yes, as of now they are dry and scabbed from airing today, but since they are on my knee, they are painful when I walk, bend my knee..... I think I need some delicious vicodin.
-
Darling, you need a stiff drink (or two WHEEEEEE) and I'll feed you champers at tomorrows picnic!
-
I had two for one martinis with beave last night. Minimal dinner and more happy hours = wheeeeee!!!!!
Not sure I will make it tomorrow. Have no idea where it is and dislike looking for people. Depends on if I get my laundry, shopping and cleaning done. What time is it supposed to be? -
1pm and you have my number so we can meet up. I'm also a little confused where it is. But I'm sure the 3 of us will find it together. I have Meredith's number so we can always call him and make him jump up and down until we see him.

rave: Big Wiener in da House:

Scarlett: If the wound is over a high-tension area of skin like a joint (such as the knee), using an ointment like neosporin will keep it moist and keep it from cracking/splitting when it's under tension. It has no significant effect on infection rates.
Rave: Trifecta! Sahara for dinner, Coney Island Bagels & Bialys to pick up breakfast for the next 2 weeks, and Vodka Gallery for after-dinner drinks, all on Coney Island Avenue. We must have a Brooklynian event at the Vodka Gallery. It is full of win. -
