Wash'n/St. John's Murders--Gang Related?
Subject: Wash'n/St. John's Murders--Gang Related?
The reporting on Saturday's murders has been really scant. Was this a gang thing? If so I would really like to attend a community meeting to hear about the precinct's outreach/enforcement on gangs. If such a thing doesn't occur I think we need to reach out to our electeds as others have said here. All this random violence happening between Underhill & Washington in the past year is really disconcerting. I wouldn't move here with my kids knowing what I know now.Comments

As is the case with most violence, I hardly think that it was random. -
Reach out to elected officials? Your city council rep is Letitia James, who cares only about protesting condo developments and the "invasion" of the yuppies. For issues such as this, she is useless.
