  • They ain't bad actually. They make great soups, their tofu dishes (such as Happy Goose) and veggie duck are good and they know how to make a decent plate of mustard greens. They're probably the best chinese place in all of the Slope and Prospect Heights.

Really? I thought Tofu was allright the few times I've been there, but nothing special. Red Hot (10th st and 7th ave) gets the award for best Chinese place in my opinion.
  • I forgot about Red Hot. I haven't been there in ions. I shall eat there and see. If I remember correctly though Tofu and Red Hot are two different styles.
  • Tofu on 7th was the first place I got take out from upon moving to PS. I was just delighted to find a place that appeared to revolve around tofu. The reality was less-than-stellar... admittedly, this was 4 years ago, so things may have changed.

That said, I looooooove me some Red Hot. Their Vegetable Tsos Chicken is delicious, if super high in calories and fat. Mmmmmmm......
  • i guess i'll try out both places :p. btw is taht you in hidden in that icon of yours idlewild? hehe
  • I like the place (Tofu on 7th). Their food feels healthy, but tastes... tasty.
