mothers day flowers?

diane

I need three bouquets of flowers to give out on Mothers Day and I
want them to be tasteful/modern and a good deal moneywise.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • Shannon florist, maybe? I've done well with them on other stuff. Zuzu's Petals is the best but not cheap.
  • Subject: Shannons

Thanks. I love Zuzu's Petals too but I was hoping to spend a little less.
    Where is Shannons located?

    Out on Fort Hamilton. (Kensington?)

Not far from Zuzu's is Blooms on Fifth but have no idea if any good.

    Did I hear Kensington?
If you want a creative bouquet, uhm.....forget Shannons. What about the Farmer's market and make your own with Lilacs or Peonies or other spring flowers??
  • The greenmarket does have wonderful flowers. If you want a florist, The Forest Floor on Vanderbilt between Park and Prospect usually has some interesting stuff for reasonable prices, and sometimes they're pre-made.
  • On CARROLL and & 7th on the side of KEY FOOD...24/7 GREAT FLOWERS and really reasonable prices
  • Park Florist on 7th Ave between 1st and Garfield. A tad pricey but excellent in its quality of flowers and arrangements. Other than that why not try one of the Korean groceries and have them create something from the flowers you pick?
