Cat Grooming? — Brooklynian

Cat Grooming?

My dear 16+ year old boy cat has sort of let himself go, and is not taking care of his fur, resulting in a matted, mangy coat. He still has plenty of life left in him, so I want him to be clean and comfortable. Anyone know of a groomer that is good with cats?

  • My wonderful dog groomer, Tom, also works on cats. He's in Brooklyn Heights and totally worth the short commute:

  • I fully understand...I had the same problem with one of my older cats....once you get him groomed, a good idea would be to brush him every day....that will help a lot.
  • Animal Kind has a groomer on staff so I usually have my little guy groomed with his regular appointment

  • The groomer at Animal Kind left a 2-inch gash at the top of my poor tiny dog's ear. This happened about five years ago and I never went back.
