Theatre Workshop for 8-11 Year Olds with The Artful Conspirators is now taking registrations!

August 3-7 at The Old Stone House, Park Slope

Be dramatic!

Young actors (no experience necessary!) will create the creatures and people who live in the Blades of Grass during this week long workshop inspired by Walt Whitman’s poetry and The Artful Conspirators’ play The Second Pipe of Desire. Students will create fire, water, earth and air creatures, scenic design and an original theatre performance to be shared at the end of the week.

WORKSHOP LEADERS:
David A. Miller, Artistic Director of The Artful Conspirators, has been a professional theatre educator for more than 15 years. He has taught locally for Brooklyn Arts Exchange, NJPAC, Arts Horizons, and the McCarter Theatre. David was the Director of Education at Roundabout Theatre Company, the Artistic Director of CityKids Repertory Company and the Director of Educational Outreach at Seattle Children’s Theatre.

Carrie Heitman, Education Associate is a veteran theatre educator and professional actress who has taught for Roundabout Theatre Company, Professional Performing Arts School and others. MFA, UNC Chapel Hill.
