Very cool. Too bad O'Connor's was also mentioned without the phrase "perennial softball also-rans" attached to their name.

One of these days i'm gonna challenge each and every one of you O'Connors haters to a fight, and i'm gonna win. Then i'm gonna go have a beer at O'Connors, and you know what's NOT gonna be there??!?!
POETRY READING. -
it's true that the new look (gigantic black awning) o'c's has discontinued poetry reading. but it wasn't too many years ago that they had their own literary magazine (with poetry readings), live music (mostly courtesty of spike the bartender), and permanent art show of big-eyed Kean children.
i'm not sure you can walk from hank's to freddy's in 5 minutes though. -

I'm just kidding, you turds......I love all three of the great bars. I just love O'Connors a bit more. It's been my "home" bar for years.

yeah, saw the awning the other day and thought "wow, I'll never go in there."

Especially not if you've been inside Hank's for more than five minutes. -
