Helicopters at Park Franklin

perp on the loose according to some friends in the news business... man being chased by police
-
I was about to post the same thing -- it's really loud and sooo many cops are out on the street. From my windows I see 4 parked cars, 6 police officers on foot, and the helicopter. I assume a break-in on the North side of Park Place because of where the search lights are aimed..

just went by, there are 4 cop cars outside the shuttle entrance on park place & the officer says "it's all good" while the helicopter is circling a one block area overhead

What makes you think it was a break-in? Would they break out this kind of man-power for a break-in? -
I heard a cyclist was riding on the sidewalk.
-
Really? 'Cause I heard a guy didn't pick up after his dog and then fought off the two officers that tackled him.
-
with all of this happening in this neighborhood, these last couple of weeks; one would assume that the study that correlates Warmer Weather with more Violence might actually be true....
I'm sure none of this will be reported in the "media" because it's on the East side of Washington Ave. (aka "Crown Heights").... -
ok, maybe not a breakin, but i assumed it because why else would someone go to the roof....if you're running away, it seems stupid to climb UP and trap ones-self. In either case, someone was on the roofs of the North side of Park...that is all I know.

Mindvomit, unless there was someone shot, stabbed in an unusual or particularly comical fashion and/or killed, it's not going to make the news. Perp searches happen way too frequently to be newsworthy, whether in Crown Heights or not.
-
well, did the copters help catch the perp? i should hope all the police force and copters would achieve something given all the distress they cause the neighborhood. not saying that a peaceful slumber takes priority over law enforcement.
what happens if there's inclement weather? do the ghetto birds fly into that stuff? -
what's the status?
I feel like I have been seeing Police-copters for the past two weeks -

Coffee shot out of my nose. Tears welled in my eyes. Laughed hard at this Carni.

Subject: Oh, please keep it coming.
Well, coffee didn't come out of my nose but...my loud laughter probably woke up the guy upstairs.
 Thank you for making this woman of a certain age brighten up.
