Looking for a doctor in Prospect Heights/Park Slope

Hi,

I just switched to Oxford for health insurance and need to find a new primary care physician in the Park Slope/Prospect Heights area. Any recommendations?

  • Look up at the top, click search, and type in doctor. There are a bunch of threads...too many for me to copy and paste here. The only thing is, most don't talk about insurance. But doctors change what insurances they accept sometimes anyway. Just look up the names on Aetna's website to see if they're in network, or else call the offices to check.
  • for basic doctoring (e.g. when i need an antibiotics 'script, bloodwork, etc), i use the drs. fteha (there are two of them), who share offices with dr kurz, at the circle on flatbush and plaza street. they appear to accept a lot of insurances and have been competent with me, thusfar (and extremely convenient!!). 718.638.2551.

They nailed a "stealth" strep infection on me with some quick blood work and took care of the problem. We have Oxford, so they take it. Our main primary care physician is in Manhattan though.
