tipping for Urban Express (Ikea) delivery?

Furniture delivery is different than UPS delivery, although I guess Ikea delivery is different than most furniture delivery. If it's something big and heavy, I usually tip $20. If it's just a couple of flat packs, I wouldn't tip that much. And of course, adjust based on circumstances (5th floor walk-up is different from ground floor or an elevator building).
Basically, use your judgment but don't be a cheapskate!

That's a tough one. Definitely take into account whether it's a 5th floor walk-up versus elevator and how much furniture they're delivering, but also take into account the huge delivery fee they're already charging you (delivery from IKEA is really expensive).

I always tip delivery people..and you do need to take into consideration if you're in a walk-up, an elevator buiding, how heavy/big the delivery is. I wouldn't even consider the delivery fee...that fee does not go to the delivery person/persons
