Foreclosed Homes
Does anyone have any experience dealing with realtors in the area who specialize in the sales of local foreclosed homes? I've been in touch with a local realtor who doesn't seem that familiar with the process and would like to find one that maybe is. I hear its a daunting process, but what a great opportunity to invest in the neighborhood! I'm really itching to get my hands dirty and fix a place up. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

check realtor.com and punch in the zip code for the area you are interested in. Realtor.com pulls listings from a number of MLS systems.
You'll find a lot of the bank owned properties in the area listed there and the brokers who have them will be experience in dealing with that type of property. Banks usually work with 1 or 2 brokers exclusively and give them all their listings so they know the process. -
Don't know much about buying foreclosed homes, I'm learning more about foreclosure prevention for community empowerment.
