  • And this is a surprise?
Where does this fall in the list of promises made before election, and broken shortly thereafter?
  • I had no illusions but, apparently, many of my friends did. I have been pleasantly surprised whereas my friends feel disappointed and let-down.
  • As long as we don't start wars that kill 1,000,000 civilians I remain content with my vote.

Neocons, libertarians and Republicans remain in the wilderness for good reason.
  • You guys realize there is a large group of lobbyists out there who represent your views, right? And, many of the largest PACs are for liberal organizations. I hate it when people think lobbyist=right-wing interests only.
  • I always think lobbyists = undue influence via $$$$

Granted, there are lobbyists working for issues I would support and I once worked for a non-profit that raised money specifically for lobbying, but according to the information provided by the Center for Public Integrity, the biggest bucks and the largest organizations represent corporate interests not liberal organizations.
