Is this from the place behind La Playa (or whatever its called)? I walked by and was thinking how I wanted to try it out. I wish I had stayed last night and hit the block party but I was feeling sort of sick/food coma-ish. I came home and was asleep by 10! -

Yes, it's actually a part of La Playa I think. Have no fear! Flexi has secured us all an invite to the block party in two weeks directly in front of Mougar's. Trinidadian food! Also, Mougar didn't make it either.
Rave: Mougar's text to Carni: "Can't. Really fucked up" -
I totally got us the hookup on Moug's block - we're all cordially invited to their block party on Saturday, 8/15. I made us a bunch of new friends who love to cook.
-
^^^and drink (of course).
I think they'll also teach us how to play a mean game of dominoes. -

I'm still claiming figment of your imaginations. Do you see me in this photo? That shirt can belong to anyone! -
Block party on Union st, Flexi? I'm surprised they'd let people close that street.

Yep. I don't know how they're doing it, but we are invited. We have a bunch of new friends who know how to party -

rave: today's haul!
-
Holy shit, did you hear that lightning blast about 1/2 hour ago??
That was my neighbors building!! Some shit blew up on the roof and all this crap rained down. I think it's part of an antenna that was destroyed. 4 fire department trucks arrived. It was crazy!!!
The blast scared the living shit out of me, it was LOUD!!!
-

I hope you're protecting them from the squirrels b/c squirrels have been leaving half-eaten tomatoes on my deck and in my petunias! -

I heard that! I was in 5th Avenue Key Food - half the store ran out into the parking lot to try and figure out what it was!

Dude, you should have come over! The whole block was out talking to the fiemen, explainign what they saw. My neighbors let them come up to the roof to make sure either of our places wasn't on fire or something. CRAZY!!

Rave: Hilarious movie from 1985 with Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker about solid gold dancers or something.
Rant: Brooklynbound moved to Boston and has already met millions of mens. -
I know! She already texted me that Boston is not the 'fishfest' NYC is.
-
I thought she was into that?
-
I guess not so much! Maybe she hooked up with a smelly brooklynian bitch and got turned off of giggle gardens.
-
rave: my upstairs neighbors must have their grandkids over. I'm out in the yard and I keep hearing these huge ripping fart signs and then giggling. Then they got bored with that and starting saying "POOP" and then that became "POOPEEEEEEEE".
I'm ready to moon them but don't wan to get arrested :-) -
I'll be right over with my tranq gun!
-

nah....that's a rave because it's kinda funny. Plenty of other kids around who deserve a taser first! -
Rave: Coney Island on a Sunday evening
Rant: The guy next to me in the movie theater earlier. I give him the benefit of the doubt because he may have been mentally disabled. Either way he was friggin' annoying. Watch the movie, not me, you #$@! -

When I lived in Boston, I had a date every weekend with quality (read: good-looking, good job, funny, smart, etc.) guys. And, yet, not having lived anywhere else at that time and nothing to compare it to, I bitched about my dating life. I'd kill to have that dating life back. (Brooklynian women road trip to Boston??)
Rant: Brooklynbound moved to Boston and has already met millions of mens.
-
^^^nah. I'm not taking a road trip to Boston to meet me. Maybe Spain or Australia. Eh, who am I kidding? If the man doesn't just come to my door, I can't be bothered :-)
Plus I am still waiting on my Cabana Boy -

Can you blame him, you are too hot for words! -
Danielle, in my many visits to Boston, I found that while there are lots of men, they weren't interested in the same things and are seriously monochromatic. But, I will be going up to visit Brooklynbound, so join me!
Howdy, Stranger!
