Prints Charming on Sterling between Flatbush and 7th. I don't think they're open on Tuesdays.

I've found that San-Art (I think) on 7th right near Flatbush is excellent--they take a long time and may be a bit on the expensive side, but they do good work. They framed a couple prints for me, and they replaced the frames they originally bought for them because they obscured some of the print. most places I've been to would just have done it and shrugged.... -
Thank you! This is very helpful. I'm a little intimidated by the whole process, because they are my own, amateur watercolors that I love. I don't want anyone looking down their nose at me. That's why I am so appreciative of the suggestions with anecdotes.
As for my fear of other people's opinions, I thankfully already have a good therapist for that. -

Clinton Hill Simply Art and Framing Gallery is amazing. I get all of my framing done there. The owner, Lurita, is a master of her craft. Does all of her work by hand.

I had some framing done at Prints Charming and was very pleased with their work and they were nice and professional. I went into San-Art once because I heard they were good too but I had to leave after 5 minutes of standing there feeling completely *invisible*. They were helping someone else so I waited quietly by the door with my daughter in her stroller. My kid was really sleepy and I was reading to her, so they obviously knew I was there (it's a tiny place and I was talking). No one greeted me when I walked in, nor did anyone even acknowledge my presence at all. Not even to say, "this might be awhile" or "we'll be with you as soon as we can". Nothing. For 5 minutes. I don't look like I've got oodles of cash, nor was I carrying any expensive artwork, but I thought it was really rude to just ignore someone like that.
