Helicopter - 1AM - North Slope and (apparent) landing in PP?

Anyone else see/hear the police helicopter at about 1AM?

Saw at least one orbit around GAP, then it came down Garfield to 8th Avenue, up Eighth Avenue (at an altitude of about 300 feet), back up Union, and over the park where it descended out of sight.

Thought maybe it had landed, but haven't seen anything since.

I heard that there was one sitting in the northern end of Longmeadow this morning--all the folks I usually see down there at off-leash were down near 9th St this morning.
