  • rave: gorgeous day outside under the umbrella with lemonade and pussy cats
  • ^^ awaiting my invite to talk about cabana boys while eating some ripe tomatoes in the sunshine (ahem!)

This is what I want woman!!

  • It may look like a nice day, but hauling 8,000 lbs of laundry up three avenues proves that it is ridiculously. Hot and humid. Not sure I can venture back out for groceries or a movie.
But rave: the gangrene finally fell off my knee and now I just have huge scars!
  • OpossumQueen wrote: [quote=Flexichick]rave: today's haul!
I hope you're protecting them from the squirrels b/c squirrels have been leaving half-eaten tomatoes on my deck and in my petunias!

I think only one tomato has been stolen so far - I found the carcass by the fence. Squirrels have been a'scared to enter since Jackson and Stella have stepped up the border patrol and Dolores & Sons raccoon company was doing night shift (although they seem to be gone now - I haven't seen them in weeks).

How are you keeping the squirrels away?

MMMMMMM...that was so yummy. I have a giant golden tomato ready to pick today. I don't want to sit around and talk about cabana boys. Cabana boy should me making that shit and bringing it out to my deck chair.
  • Rant: stressed induced headache, stomach ache and acne.
  • rave: Beave sounds hotter than ever!

I'd like to point out that I am outside doing my resume and I accidentally put it too close to the citronella candle (fucking skeeters) and it went on fire. I am taking this as a sign from the Universe that I was not meant to work ever again.
  • Clealy you are meant to meet me at the Pavillion for Fuuny People followed by dinner at Ten!
  • ^^^^ Sorry, chica. I only go to the Pavillion in the day time and not much of a sushi eater (insert joke here). I'm chilling in the garden doing some work outside and may take myself down to 7th Ave for a big tui-na massage. This stupid ankle has my whole body out of whack
  • Rave: Leftover pie and ice cream (thanks em!)
  • Rant: blurry vision in my left eye. Freaking out will commence in five, four. two...
  • Beave, I recommend the Scarlett school of medicine. Go visit somebody, raid their medicine cabinet for anything that sounds good and then knock a few back....this will make your vision blurry, which will counter your already blurry vision and the whole world will be right again.

rave: drinks at (unopened) bar in my 'hood where I have been screaming "Open the fucking bar already!" in my hood for a year now :-)
  • Mougar wrote: Rave: Leftover pie and ice cream (thanks em!)

pls to bring me pie. kthx
  • Rave: pizza
    Rant: none
  • Rant: going away from the interwebs for a week or so.

Rave: playing with cute nieces and eating delicious mexican food!
  • rave: tui na massage. I feel like a piece of spaghetti (in a good way)

Yeah, yeah - you invite me for drinks and then you don't show up at the bar; you invite me to Coney Island with your "kids", then never follow-up with details. If I agree to go to Boston, you'll probably ditch me at the Chinatown bus!

Whynot, please refer to your sig line.

Danielle- we already recovered from the hootenanny incident by deciding to exchange numbers next time, no? That thursday we went to Coney was fucking pouring rain. The following Thursday was gorgeous and we rode rides, walked the boardwalk and went to a Cyclones game!! But, it was decided at the last minute and I lost my brain that week.

However, if you are down to don some velvet and meet me for the Purple Rain singalong in the park on Thursday, I would invite you to my house for a glass of something first and there would be no way to miss me!

    It's a trap. RUN!!!
  • Rant: I'm heading to visit my mom and her kitteh has been sick for a few weeks - puking and diarrhea. I hope this isn't something serious (reminds me of how my beloved Phanna died. Please send healthy thoughts for Simon (aka Papi Chulo)
