NYC Marathon
Hello everyone,
Will participate to the next NYC Marathon and I am running for a great NYC charity that you may know: "Citymeal on Wheels". They provide meals for homebound elderly thorough the City.
Could you please support the cause and donate toward my fundraising goal?

Thank you,
Larry,
Running the next NYC Marathon for the charity Citymeals on wheels. -
It looked like I scared everyone (execpt Katie, thank you again) or maybe you have already your "preferred" charities which is great
I do have some too!
But, if you did not maxed out your donations for your traditional charities, please support Citymeals on wheel, a New York City nonprofit organization.
2009 is tough year for all of us, including charities. This charity is about providing meals for home-bound elderly, who could be your neighbor.
Please donate:

Examples:
$128 Twenty holiday meals
$64 One Emergency Food Package providing 75 non-perishable food items
$39 Six weekend meals
Thank you everyone
PS: all your donations are tax deductible and 100% of your donation goes to meals preparation and delivery. -

Thanx for that....I use to live on Carroll St. between 8th and Prospect Park in the sixties and wondered if it was in fact the same area.
-
I think that would be Park Slope
-
Yes, that's right, Park Slope..we moved to 3rd St. and 8th Ave. later on and then I left in l970 but my parents stayed in that same apt. house up until 2 years ago. My mother was still paying $125 a month....can you believe that??
Your baby is a doll!! -

Yes our daughter is giving us a lot of joy
-
Hope the marathan goes well for you...nice to talk with you.....Claudia
-
Thank you Claudia.
