looking to move into area

I used to live right there. Parking was easy but by the time we moved I remember driving in circles sometimes until I burst into tears trying to find a spot. Schools--I think is the corner school on 8th Street and 6th Avenue. The principal is apparently the problem at the school and parents are really trying to change things and improve the school. There is a strong parents organization there. It is an up and coming school that seems to be stuck in the up and coming mode for a very long time (8-10 years). Subway is easy--there is the tempermental F the R and the M in the mornings.
