Apple Laundry

I just called for pick-up and was told they will no longer provide this service.
I have used them and been so happy for years. Now what?
I know about laundry biz. but it seems kind of formal compared to Apple. Is there anyone else in PS that picks up and delivers? Thanks in advance.

    There's a place called Bird and Alli's laundromat on 6th ave near 14th or 15th that has a sign in the window about pickup service. 718-499-7920

    I see Bubble Works (http://www.bubbleworks4u.com/) trucks picking up around Prospect Heights all the time, they probably do PS as well. I have my own machines so I don't need them. When I need to do big stuff that won't fit I drive down to the Atlantic Superwash.

    What? Apple Laundry on 7th avenue near 13th Street? they won't do pick ups anymore? WTH happened?

    I don't know what happened and I am very bummed about losing them. I tried asking questions but wasn't able to communicate with the woman who answered the phone.
    I appreciate all the help and will make some calls in the morning.

    The new Green Apple Cleaners on 7th Ave & Berkeley Pl are great. (718-799-5015). Quick pickups, nice people, and the laudry comes back super clean. The only caveat is the turn around time--they send it to their laundry in New Jersey, so it never comes back before 2 days, otherwise they are superb.

    Does Green Apple do wash and fold? I thought they were dry clean only. I've been using Plaza Cleaners on 7th, but they're pricy.

    You know, the SO did our laundry at Apple on Monday and he mentioned that things were different inside - a younger couple appeared to be running things and he said the place looked emptier - like some machines/furniture was missing. Wonder if there was a change in ownership or something...

    I actually just joined this blog to comment on this! This does suck I have been using them for 3 years. I called for pick up and they said they no longer were doing that, so I brought it in and they did a really poor job. I am thoroughly disappointed by all of this. Oh well time to find a new place!

    Is Green Apple Expensive! Apple Laundry was well priced for a very good job!
