Direct Energy - Another util scam (maybe)

Got a knock on the door today and was greeted by two people working for "Direct Energy" who gave me a remarkably similar spiel to the IDT people who were around 8 months ago.

They asked for my Coned bill (refused) and were generally quite forward about trying to see it. The major difference was that I recall the IDT people at least telling you they were a competing company, these guys tried to play it off like they were from some non-profit or state organization asking around to make sure consumers had "selected a carrier utility company".

Haven't checked out who this company is but i'm guessing it's the same idea as before... :evil:
