unless it was orcs or something else vs humans
. i vote for orcs any day of the week, but in scifi i like my bad guys to be aliens and in fantasy humans to be bad guys. -

Perhaps if the request were wrapped in the right manner...
Or better yet:
Guylynian: We come bearing chocolates. And orcs. -

I'm down with the orcs

I'll just pop in here and be all ... girly and also nerdy and whatever. Avatar looked gorgeous! Of course I've been disagreeing with a friend over whether Avatar or The Wolf Man will be better. Currently I think either could be good, but Avatar looks 10X prettier.
I am a-ok with my villains being human. People can seriously suck sometimes. Especially when it comes to aliens.
On a side note, anyone see District 9 yet? Whatcha think? -
Avatar for some reason reminds me of the abysmal Abyss, also directed by James Cameron. I'm going to wait for it on HBO. I'm actually looking forward to Zombieland and Legion.
I saw D9. It was pretty good. It's cool seeing a sci-fi flick take place specifically in a country not many Americans know about. Other than that and the easy reference/allegory to apartheid, I can never look at a shrimp cocktail the same again. -

You should see District B13 (released as Banlieue 13 in France). They have it streaming on Netflix. -

yea, great movie.
though the american title is redundant. it should just be District 13. -

I saw it when it came out a few years ago. Paris in the future? A cop and a crook have to disarm a nuke in a Parisean slum? I like that film as well.
Howdy, Stranger!
