  • The few things I know about this jungle gym for cops. It cost lots to buy it,maintain and to man it. I ordered some food from the place across the street and while it was being made(5 to 10 min) a guy sold a bag in front of me while I was waiting. This thing is a big white flag by the cops that they give up. It is low risk police work at it's best. You want to slow sales for a couple of days do it west coast style, walk each line of cars at the stop light for cell phone use, registration(which is in the front window in NY) and seat belts. 95% of the people will drive away with a warning or ticket. The other 5% are drunk, packing guns drugs and have outstanding warrants. The added benefit would be to enforce child seat use which from a stroll up the block looks like below 100%. The only thing that has changed is the colors where taken down from the street signs on Lincoln and St.Marks. Maybe the tower is used to ID bandannas that are misplaced. The hood is swinging back, people want to bring their families and restart in this part of Brooklyn. Let the cops explain the tower to kids that live and visit here.

  • That's interesting catwalker- fiance and I were walking back from Bristen's and one block up from that thing, there were a few guys smoking a blunt right out in the open. That thing's a joke. They station the cops there (one man up there with one or two on the ground) and that's where they stay.
