writes marni in brooklyn: “we tried this restaurant back when they first opened. the food was pretty bad, it took forever to arrive, and i believe our waitress quit or was fired (either way, there was some yelling) during our meal. many gimmicks involving morning coffee were attempted, but the signage made the food look really unappealing, the type of cuisine was unclear, and there are so many restaurants in park slope that if you can’t stand out for good reasons, you’re just not going to succeed. trying to make the neighborhood feel guilty about it ain’t gonna work.” but that doesn’t mean they won’t try!

    I don't mind this - they're being honest. It sounds like some people were supportive of their restaurant and some weren't and they mentioned it. No big deal.

    Being a regular visitor to P-A Notes, I just found it funny to see a local posting.

    they had a seriously sucky name and I never felt any temptation to check it out.

    I was never tempted either.

    I do have to say, though, I don't think one should judge a restaurant too harshly when they've just opened.

    How long did they survive? I remember some weird threads about them (vaguely....). I agree that places should have some time to work out the kinks

    Their location was odd, and their prices were too high. I had lunch there once and enjoyed it. I was headed back for another lunch a month or so later, only to discover that-- POOF, "Delicious" was gone.

    Speaking of POOF, I'm shocked at how quickly the Korean Deli on 7th between Pres and Union went South. They were open for what, six weeks, maybe?
