Dog hit

Looks like someone's dog just got run over at the corner of Wash and St. John. Dead. Hit and run, I think. At least I can't see any concerned driver from where I'm at.

As I was walking on St. Marks around underhill, a dog owner was running after her unleashed black mixed mut. She'd call for it, but the dog just kept running. As matter of fact, the dog crossed two intersection (Vanderbilt and underhill) with the red light and narrowly missed being hit.
Was the dog a black lab-ish mix? Some dog owners don't realize the importance of a leash and assume it's okay for the dog to run loose.
Hey DH, where is that spell check? I hope I spelled dog correctly

I was squinting at the whole thing out of a third-story window, but I think the dog was majoratively whitish and small.
