Game Stop- 5Ave 13St. Robbed at Gun Point

I don't think that anyone is saying that getting robbed at gun point in the 21st Century is O.K, Things really were much worse during the bad old days. My ex and I packed up our kids and moved out after we were both mugged in the same week.
Just pointing out that the odds of being a victim of a crime is significantly lower now than it was then. Hell, the first time that detectives showed up at my door to investigate a burglary in the building I was shocked. You know what the cops used to do? They would actually laugh when they showed up after you reported a burglary and then you would never hear from them again.
It's the changed demographics of the neighborhood that have caused the change, it didn't happen the other way around. The neighborhood didn't get safer before the wealthier people moved in. -
The boy at the gamestop was my brother and hes only 7yrs old.
Howdy, Stranger!
