Bergen and Franklin looks a little empty now that the police truck with flashing lights is gone. After weeks of very obvious police presence, this likely signals a ramping down of the operation/ intervention. Hopefully it won't go from massive presence to none at all, but I expect it will.

    I think it just moved - there's been one on Nostrand around Dean/Pacific for the past two days.

    it moved to Nostrand and Dean b/c there was a shooting there on Tues evening. it will bounce back to Franklin after the next shooting over there. and yes all the cops are now on Nostrand.

    To be fair to the cops, the block that its currently on has had two shootings this summer, with the first one being fatal. If having it there discourages the young men on the surrounding blocks from pulling out their guns for a week or two, its not a bad thing.
