For what it is worth, which for me was several hours of snickering with a few big belly laughs, Howard Stern hit the topic hard this past week or two. Stern was/is a big fan of the Kennedys, including Ted, but really gave it to him good over killing that girl. At one point, Stern suggested that the Kennedys take Ted's war chest (his millions in donations) and set up a Kennedy Rape Fund, so the next time a Kennedy is on trial for rape, there is a defense fund in place. Stern's rants on this matter are gold. I particularly like the splashing sounds in the background when Ted's name is mentioned!

Oh Shit! I just got the DWI!

Kennedy liked to joke about Chappaquiddick
This isn't an accusation from Ted Kennedy's political opponents, but a nostalgic remembrance by one of his friends. Ed Klein, former Newsweek editor, tells the Diane Rehm Show:

Wow, I am actually laughing out loud. -
This one might be unfair. I mean, calling Obama a centrist is just awful. His policies of not supporting gay rights, not supporting the abortion law he promised to support, not supporting gay marriage, wiretapping, not releasing torture evidence. To be fair, it should just call President Obama a conservative!
