Looking for a drummer — Brooklynian

Looking for a drummer

Hi guys. Not sure if this should go in the lounge or what, but...

We’re looking for a drummer to join our new band.

Currently, we’ve got bass, piano, guitar, & the occasional ukulele. Two vocalists (one female, one male), and always looking for more for harmonies.

Influences: Gillian Welch, The Band, Lucinda Williams, Sam Cooke. Working on originals and covers.

Age isn't an issue---we happen to be in our late 20s, early 30s. We're all laid back and all around solid people.

We practice once a week.

PM me if you're interested.

  • Whoops -- meant to say that genre-wise, I guess it's sort of alt-country / folk / blues / rock.
  • a drummer can usually be found

sleeping in the back seat of a car

    when he's not dating anyone
  • I hadn't thought to look there. Thanks for the advice!
  • Have you thought of getting a drum machine? Then you'd only have to punch the instructions in once.

i punched my drummer on numerous occasions

comparison: the machine would break down but it never once cried

That's because if it lets you see it cry, you win.
