A gunshot victim fleeing attackers yesterday was hit by a livery cab and dragged for eight blocks in Brooklyn, cops said.
The 24-year-old man was shot in the ankle on Nostrand Ave. in Crown Heights at 2:40 p.m. and bolted into traffic near Bergen St., where he was struck by the cab, cops said.

The victim, Elijah Greer, was listed in critical condition late yesterday at Kings County Hospital, police said.

Livery cab driver Secret Joseph said he was terrified by the sudden gunfire.

"There were so many shots I couldn't tell how many [shots] there were," said Joseph, who spoke in Creole through a translator.

He said he had no idea the man was trapped beneath his car.

It wasn't until the driver of a city bus flagged him down eight blocks later that he stopped.

Witness Guy Mars, who was driving in the area, said he heard gunfire, saw several men run into the street and then had to hit the brakes on his car when a livery cab swerved into his path.

"I thought the cab driver was shot," Mars said.

"Everybody was trying to get away - even me. It was all very crazy."

wtf? ugh, what the hell is going on these days, i swear to god there was less shi, and certainly less shootings, going on in this neighborhood five years ago when i first moved in.
