Indian restaurants in the area? — Brooklynian

Indian restaurants in the area?

We just moved to the neighborhood, and we love it.

However, we can't find a decent Indian eatery - if any - in the area. Any recommendations?

Regards,

  • Ppfffttttt....good luck with that. If you do happen to find one, let me know!
  • Try Medina on Cony Island Ave and Beverley Rd
  • Subject: Thanks

Thank you for the quick response Jack and Beaver!

Beaver, you and you friends - and I don't know how to tell you this - look like rabbits.

    Cheers!
  • Wah??? Why I never!! When I find good Indian food in the nabe, don't expect me to tell YOU about it.

Well, okay, I might tell you. But only to taunt you.

Don't be fooled. Beave is much more of a bunny boiler type.

    There. I said it.
  • Those bunnies were GGGOOODDDDDDD.
  • there briefly was an indian place next door to farrells where enzos is now. i believe they still have another branch on 7th ave between 11th and 10th st
  • That's too bad. Enzos tastes nothing like Indian food.

I've been to the Bombay Grill on 7th; not the greatest, but they seem freindly.
  • I head into Manhattan for my Indian fix (shut up, Flexi). There was a great place up in Washington Heights but the name escapes me.
  • <---keeping all of the jokes in my head
  • That helps. Thanks
  • bombay grill (in PS) delivers to the area, but its not that great

take the F to Jackson Heights for some real good food
  • I know. I want to like Bombay Grill, but I get disappointed every single time. You would think that there is at least one Indian restaurant in Brooklyn that saves you a trip to Queens.
  • If you're still looking, India Place up on Vanderbilt is the best in the area, though that's not saying a heck of a lot. But it's not bad and they have a very wide delivery range despite it coming slowly on a bike. They reach us on Windsor Place. Takes up to an hour though. Menu online.
