i don't know what to say

Subject: i don't know what to say

my girlfriend calls the cops when a livery cab that belongs to one of our neighbors is being broken into by a group of teenagers. said teenagers are still in the area when the cops show up so we are hesitant to go out and talk to them when they arrive on scene. eventually we go outside, describe what happened, hear the dispatcher over the radio giving matching descriptions running away a block away while we're out there. we walk back inside. i overhear the cops saying that my girlfriend "musta been gettin laid or sumthin" as the reason why we came out so late after their arrival. thanks guys. bang up job chillin' out at the car for the next 10 minutes as people fitting the description were RUNNING AWAY FROM YOU!!!. (and in other news we did hear them say the computers were broken, meaning they couldn't find the owner of the car who just so happened to come upon it; and be quite upset.)

so to sum it all up. the kids got away, the owner of the car is pissed, my girlfriends insulted. good night overall.

That is TOTALLY unprofessional and fucked up.

I urge you to call Detective Raton, who handles community affairs for the precinct, at 718-735-0634.

And you should also file a civilian complaint:
