I've been living in the apt. seven years---no problems for four and a half of those years. The infestation started in the hallway carpeting under the fire escape, then spread to my apartment. The public hallway is still infested. Isn't landlord obligated to treat?
I'm hoping to bring an exterminator in before I have to take out the wool coats and scarves (sealed with masking tape in long plastic boxes under the bed *sigh*). -
I'm a knitter, and here's what we do when we're worried about moths in our wool: First, freeze the item. Doing so will kill any larvae. Then remove it from the freezer and store it in a sealed ziplock bag.
