  • Every other brownstone in this neighborhood is painted "approved" colors. Who gives a shit if this one's painted pink? At least it's somewhat interesting.
  • If I paid 2.5 million for a brownstone, I'd paint it whatever colour I preferred.
  • If you paid $2.5M for a brownstone you SHOULD paint it whatever color you want. I would hope the color would be one you preferred and not one of the OOPS reduced returns at Lowes.

I still think the pink is unattractive.

Whenever I see this house I think back to the 1980's - a controversy ensued in Beverly Hills when some Arabian prince bought a mansion and painted it pepto pink. If that wasn't enough, all the statuary was painted in fleshtones - complete with dark hair - top AND bottom. Apparently the neighbors found it offensive and sued. I think the prince won?

But whatever floats the owners boat.
  • Looks like the house is now off the market and the owner's grandson may be in a bit of hot water for trying to sell a place he doesn't own:

Ooops. I like how they also mentioned how the realtor didn't mention the color. Nice little surprise.

I think I am going to try to sell the house I live in now. I don't own it, but Imma gone try to sell it anyway :-)
