Looking for experienced and reliable movers with insurance certificate. For a move from Manhattan to Brooklyn on around Nov 10, 2009. I appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.

I have no idea about the insurance part, but I have used Gar Hing 3x and they are fast, careful and cheap. They have a website.

I twice used College Educated Movers. They were excellent and inexpensive, but they were also uninsured.

don't know if you already found someone, and can't confirm if they are insured. But I have been using these guys over the last 15 years, and my old roommate has used them every time too, and I refer them always, and people are always pleased. they may run a little late, but are extremely fair, and quick.

Last week I had the opportunity to use Armchair Warriors moving service. I was very pleased. The
mover was professional, pleasant, punctual and extremely reasonably priced. I will happily use
his service again and would recommend them without hesitation. Sorry to hear of your bad

Thank you all very much for your suggestions. I've hired svenmoving. Will let you know how it was once the move is done.
Looking for gas supplier now. I have really no clue at all how to choose this. In Manhattan I've had gas & electricity with ConEd. ConEd is in Bklyn for electricity but not gas. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.
