Rave: dinner last night at Korzo (other than the screaming baby that came in at 9 with stroller! We tried the "glare tactic" and they finally took it's cries outside).
OK got the hanger steak special with a sweet potato puree--it was so amazing and of course their usual generous portions. And the berry creme brulee was perfect. We had some wines and other apps off the menu and all was excellent. -
rant: our "musician" neighbor is back from tour. quotation marks are because he has got to be deaf, judging by the wall-rattling volume he uses for even late-night TV.
rant: he seems to have developed an interest in carpentry. at 3 am. -

I'm glad you gave them the death stare until they took the kid outside. -

I'm glad you gave them the death stare until they took the kid outside. It's too bad that restaurant managers don't step in and do something before it gets to that point -

Never gonna be you Whynot. You've moved on and yet you didn't move on.
Mamacita is your BFF. You should be thankful , dammit! -
Em, you are confused.
I am thankful for Mama. Look at her pretty blue eyes (see photo she provided above)!
Maybe your BFF could edit the photo to put some bacon right above her belly button. That would be excellent! -
^^

Leave my BFF out of this.
Let's change the subject.
My oh my was it such a pretty day today.

My mind feels like it's going to explode.

Rave:
Making the best chilli ever today.
Rant:
I won't get to enjoy it cuz I don't feel like eating anything. -
Rave: I made chili too! And swiss chard in tomato sauce. And shopped and cleaned and went to the post office. Great day.
Rant: stupid skankees game is STILL on. Lose already! -
Rave: previous rant about stupid post office decision to sass employee did not result in my passport re-ap going into the circular file. New passport arrived today!

Mrs. Whynot is a saint. Congrats, you guys. -

Impossible. She is Jewish. There are no Jewish Saints. -
^Mary and Joseph sure LOOK Jewish....

a. They might have believed the wild tales of their "son", which would have made them one of those confused "Jews for Jesus" you see at Union Square.
b. Mary and Joseph looked really Irish in my elementary classroom. Perhaps the Catholics managed to claim them as retroactively theirs as a result of a winning a card game in the middle ages.
Mrs. Whynot tells me she'll get herself declared a martyr once she dies, but (because her tribe members can't agree on anything), fame might be out of reach. Mrs. Whynot's fame so far is limited to Brooklynian. -
Rave: The Chipotle app for the iPhone.
Rant: The need for Chipotlaway in an hour or so. -
Rave: Xiaolongbao tonight!
-
Rave: nice sunny morning in the park
Rave: finishing writing essays ahead of schedule! -

---You are looking at two identical "cubecases". Each consists of 12 cubes, each cube is 11.25" x 11.25" x 11.25" x 11.25"). They'll be in someone's closet, she'll use them for sweaters and such. The staining still needs final touches---
Rant/rave: One of the firms that I've interviewed with twice is presently calling my references. ...this means they'll likely soon make me an offer, and my funemployment would come to an end.
-
